Livestock are simply the names and descriptions that you give to a specific set of animals for your purposes of grouping them together for your operation.
You are allowed to give your Livestock whatever name and description you like.
Livestock are assigned to Feedgroups which are assigned either to a Barn or a room in the Barn. This allows tracking of animals counts and feed consumption at the group level to see efficiencies at a given Farm.
