A budget allows you to track how much feed you plan to feed to a Feedgroup, how much you've consumed, as well as your remaining budget. This data can then be utilized in the feed order entry system to make sure you don't exceed budget when ordering feed.
The software also allows you to budget rations on an animal/pound basis.
