If you are an Admin on your account, you can set up alerts. To create an alert, follow these steps:
*We are currently updating the software so that users can also set up and manage alerts.

  1. From the drawer menu, click Admin, then Alerts
  2. On the Table, click the +Alert button from the toolbar. This will open a pop-up where you'll create your alert.
  3. Table inputs:
    1. Alert Name (Required Field)
      1. What you put here is the heading of the email/sms you will receive.
        (Ex: BinCloud Resin tank Alert)
    2. Filter Vessels by site (Optional)
      1. Use this field to filter the vessels in the Select Vessels dropdown.
    3. Filter Vessel by barn (Optional)
      1. Use this field to filter the vessels in the Select Vessels dropdown.
    4. Select Vessels (Required Field)
      1. This is where you select the vessels you'd like to set up alerts for.
      2. Click the drowdown, and select the vessels you'd like, to deselect, click the "X" next to the vessel you'd like to deselect.

    5. Filter Users by Role (Optional)
      1. This filters the Select Users space by Admin, Users, and Viewers.
    6. Select Users (Required Field)
      1. This is where you select the users you'd like your alerts to go to.
      2. Click the dropdown, and select the users you'd like, to deselect, click the "X" next to the user you'd like to deselect.
  4. Setting Alert Values and Notification Settings
    **Note, regardless of the alert you are setting up, currently you have to fill in a value for LOW CRITICAL. If you do not wish to set an alert of that type, put a 0 in that row. This is a known issue and a fix is currently in development.

    1. Alert Type (Required Field)
      1. You can set any combination of low level or high level alert. Low alerts are for when the vessel is getting emptied, high alerts are for when vessels are filling.
    2. Alert At (Required Field)
      1. Input a number
    3. Units (Required Field)
      1. Select the unit that corresponds to the number you set in Alert At.
    4. Alert Color (Required Field, Default is Green)
      1. This sets the color of the system notification that pops up when an alert is triggered.
    5. SMS (Optional)
      1. If you turn this option on, the selected users will get an SMS Text Message notification when the alert is triggered.
      2. For this to work, the user MUST have a working cell phone number added into their user account information.
    6. E-mail (Optional)
      1. If you turn this option on, the selected users will get an E-mail notification when the alert is triggered.
    7. All Bins are Critical (Optional)
      1. When this option is turned on, the selected users will be notified when all of the selected vessels within this alert are in a critical state.
    8. Multiple Bins are Running (Optional)
      1. When this option is turned on, the selected users will be notified when all of the selected vessels within this alert are running at the same time.
  5. When all of the required inputs have been filled in, click Create Alert and you are done!
